We're getting married!!

Jimmy and I had actually ran into each other previously but this is the night we officially met. We were both at a mutual friends house, the Dube's, for their annual July 3rd party. Everyone was hanging out and having a good time and the kids were swimming. I hear someone say to me "Is she yours"? I looked over to see my then 7 year old twerking in the pool!! 🤦🏼‍♀️ I responded "no!" 😂 Then of course I admitted she was mine and Jimmy and I got to talking after that! 2015 was the year!

The proposal was more than I could have ever imagined!! If you know Jimmy, you know how awkward he can be!! So the last thing I ever expected was an elaborate proposal, but he hit it out of the park! He planned a nice dinner at Tantalum restaurant in Long Beach. Because of Covid it was only outdoor dining which made it even better! We got a table on a dock, literally on the water. It was perfect! After dinner he took me to a hotel overlooking the water. He knows I'm a sucker for anything by the water. Once we got to the floor where our room was, he made me close my eyes. He lead me into the room and when he finally told me I could open my eyes I was floored! There were rose petals on the bed that spelled out "Will you marry me?" along with little tea light candles. I look over to him and he's on one knee with the coolest ring box in his hand!! The rest is history! He nailed the proposal!
