Outdoor. We are getting married in the vineyard at Rancho Guejito, and the reception is also outdoors at the venue. Plan for the full evening to be al fresco.
Parking is available on-site at Rancho Guejito at no charge. Follow signs once you arrive at 17224 San Pasqual Valley Road, Escondido. The road into the venue is rural and the pathways and parking areas are uneven, so please drive carefully and wear shoes you can walk in comfortably.
Hot and dry during the day, comfortable in the evening. Expect afternoon temperatures in the high 80s to mid 90s, cooling into the 70s after sunset. Rain in late July is extremely unlikely. Two practical tips: (1) the ceremony is outdoors in full late-afternoon sun, so dress in breathable fabrics and consider sunglasses, and (2) bring a light layer for after sunset, as San Pasqual Valley nights cool down quickly.
The reception ends at 10:00 PM, and all guests need to be off the property by 11:00 PM per the venue. Please plan your transportation home accordingly.
Garden Party / Vineyard Formal. Think polished and elevated for an outdoor vineyard setting. Suits and sport coats with dress shirts work well; dresses, jumpsuits, or coordinated separates are great. We recommend avoiding stiletto heels, since the ceremony and cocktail areas are on grass and uneven terrain, and stark white attire. Florals, soft tones, and warm earth colors all fit beautifully.
Yes. We will have beer, wine, champagne, and seltzers available throughout the evening, with signature cocktails available in the reception area. Non-alcoholic options will also be available. Last call is 10:00 PM.
San Diego International Airport (SAN) is the closest, roughly 45 minutes from the venue. For guests coming from the Los Angeles area, John Wayne Airport (SNA) and Ontario International (ONT) are also reasonable options if you would prefer to drive down. We recommend renting a car regardless of which airport you choose.
