Nick and Kaylin started dating in Detroit, just before Nick had to do a six month assignment in Utah. We dated long distance for those six months, which was made much better when Kaylin visited Nick in Utah for her spring break. We adventured in the Moab desert and took Kaylin skiing at Snowbasin for her first time ever skiing. Over the next 3 years, we visited 11 states and 7 countries, sharing many adventures of hiking, camping, and exploring. Each adventure has brought us to better know each other and prepare us for our wedding day.

On the evening before our 3 Year anniversary, Nick was going to fly into Detroit from New Jersey to celebrate. Thinking nothing of it, I (Kaylin) chose that morning to go to the Detroit Institute of Arts, a museum where we frequented often as a date spot during our time in Detroit, to meet up with friends. Walking into Rivera Court of the museum I was surprised to see Nick, who got down on one knee after I was done staring him down in bewilderment. I said, "YES!" and now our adventure continues. We can't wait for you to share in our next celebration!
