Carolyn and Jess met their freshman year of college at orientation. They were the only commuters put into their group and both realized they received the wrong parking pass. Carolyn had always lived close to LVC so she knew the campus like the back of her hand. Jess, did not. Carolyn helped direct Jess to the pub safety office so they could both get the correct parking pass. From that day on, Carolyn invited Jess to go to more events with her at LVC and introduced her to so many people. While other friendships from LVC faded, Carolyn and Jess never drifted away. Their friendship continued to get stronger every year and Carolyn became an integral part of our friend group. Both of us could not imagine our lives without her.
Haley Mills
Maid of Honor
Haley and Jess met the summer before Jess's freshman year of high school. They met at their first soccer practice and both played defense. Since that day, they grew as teammates, classmates, and best friends. Haley graduated the year before Jess and moved to Maryland. Even though she moved 4 hours away, Haley continued to keep in contact and made it a priority to come to visit friends often. From there, Haley decided she wanted to move back to PA and has been living with Matt and Jess since. She is the best roommate and friend a girl could ask for. Our relationship with her continues to get closer every day (even while we are going crazy with this wedding planning).
Gracie Edmonds

Gracie and Jess first met on a Word of Life missions trip. Jess had been dating Matt for almost a year and Gracie was the first family member she was going to meet. Jess was sure to make Gracie know exactly how strange she can be and smother her and hugs and kisses even though she refused them. Gracie and Jess slowly over the past 6 years have gotten very close and bond over many things. They love talking about their struggles in college, their dumb jokes they see on the internet, and choosing each other's outfits (even though they have two very different styles). Gracie has always been one of Matts's closest siblings and calls him often to have him help with her school work. Even though she lives 8+ hours away, Matt and Jess have daily communication with Gracie that they always enjoy.
Madison Lindsay
Bridesmaid
Madison and Jess have only known each other for a short amount of time. Madison had begun dating Jess's older brother, J.C. and they quickly got along. Even though Madison is the only person in this world that is smarter than J.C., Jess and she can relate to many things. They both like to stay active, make fun of J.C. and his weird dorky things, and love playing board games together. Jess and Matt have been taking all of Madison's strategies just so they can one day defeat her and J.C. in a game. Matt and I are both very happy to have her as a part of our special day. Hopefully, by the wedding, Matt and I will be good enough to take her and J.C. on!
Morgan Louer
Bridesmaid
Morgan and Jess have only known each other for a short amount of time, but within that time they have become so close! Morgan began dating Matt's Best Man (Noah) and she quickly connected with all of us and became great friends. Jess actually knew about Morgan 4 years prior but had never met her. So when they first met, Morgan thought it was so weird that Jess knew so many strange things about her from when she was in high school! Morgan has quickly shown that she is just as weird as all of our friends and is down to do anything. She has been there for Jess no matter what, even to the point of her calling off of work and saying she was sick, just to come to our engagement party. She is a sassy and hardworking individual that we are so grateful has become such a large part of our lives.
Taylor Pletcher

Taylor has been Matt's best friend since 2005. They met at the Olympians program that was going on in their church and became closer over the years as they got more involved in their church. From youth group events to becoming youth leaders, to working together in a frozen yogurt shop, to now living 8 hours away from each other, they always made sure to make each other a priority. Jess and Taylor had met shortly after she and Matt had started dating and got along very well. Neither of them like hugs but they grew so close so quickly that they are always willing to hug each other goodbye. With Taylor being a life long friend of Matts and becoming so close with Jess, they could not imagine their special day without her.
Noah Greene
Best Man
Noah and Jess had met the beginning of their 8th-grade year at their church youth group. Their friendship started with him stealing Jess's phone and immediately going through her text messages and asking who every single person was in her phone. Noah and Jess had gotten very close with each other and other friends within their church. They both decided to go on a mission trip with other people from their church and this is where Noah and Matt met. Matt was Noah's leader for his first missions trip and Noah said that he was the coolest counselor he ever had. When Matt and Jess began to date, Noah had a good relationship with both of them already and that relationship continued growing. Neither of them could picture their lives, friends, and crazy nights without Noah by their side.
Shaughn Greene
Best Man
Shaughn had met Matt and Jess when they went over to Noah's house for a party. At first, Shaughn wasn't too sure what to think of Jess but he and Matt quickly became friends. Shaughn started coming over to hang out with Matt more often and even worked for 6 months on fixing a Mercedes together. The car was so complex that they spent most of their weeknights and weekends with each other and that's when they became so close. Since he started to come over so often, him and Jess's relationship began to form and now they are like two peas in a pod. Shaughn has been such a large part of their lives from going to the shooting range to cooking dinners, going on hikes, last-minute formals, and so much more and they needed him to stand by their sides on this day.
Everett Fellenbaum

Everett and Jess had met during their middle school years in their church youth group. Everett also went on missions trips with Matt, Noah, and Jess and had always been a good friend. Everett went off to college and his relationship with all of them had faded. About 2 years ago, Everett had reached back out saying he was now going to a college near Matt and Jess and was living at home and asked if they wanted to hang out. Matt and Jess had not seen him in a while but when they met up, it was like no time had passed. Everett began to come over more often and meet the rest of our friends and quickly became someone we always wanted to have around. From helping every year at elections to bringing free coffee and donuts over every week, we are glad he could make time to be a part of this day.
Adam Gipe
Groomsman
Adam had met both Matt and Jess a couple of years ago when Noah had invited him over for a get-together. Friends decided to come over to make some dinner and play games. At first, Adam was very quiet but he was very funny. After the night was over, Matt and Jess told Noah to bring him back over because they really liked him. He decided to come back and after that, he was not shy. He opened up very quickly and fit right in with all of their friends. He has done a lot for Matt and Jess over the past couple of years. Adam is the most "go with the flow" person Matt and Jess know and always know if they call him in the middle of the night for help, he will show up in 10 minutes. Matt and Jess are so happy with how close they got with Adam and are blessed to have him be apart of this day.
Neil Muro

Neil had met Matt and Jess a couple of years ago when Shaughn had asked if one of his buddies could come to hang out. At first, Jess was not a fan of him because he seemed too full of himself. However, Jess was very wrong. Neil has done a lot for Matt and Jess, especially with planning this wedding, as he is a videographer. Neil is one of the most honest people they have ever met and when either of them needs advice, they know Neil will tell them exactly what they need to hear. He is also one of the best cooks and is always down to come to hang out and cook Matt and Jess's dinner when they don't feel like it. Neil also got a dog so that Izzy could have another doggy friend! Neil has been such a great guy to get to know and Matt and Jess can't wait for him to be a part of this day.
J.C. Rowe

j.C. is Jess's older brother and is known as the "smart" one. Although he has no common sense, it is amazing how much information he can retain. J.C. and Jess have always been very close. So close, they even got a tattoo together. Even though they are close, that never stopped Jess from beating him up. It also never stopped J.C. from telling her she would never get a boyfriend if she continued to eat the way she did! When Jess introduced Matt to J.C., he thought he was a dork at first but then realized how much information Matt knew about cars and computers. Matt and J.C. have become close, especially because of them helping each other out in different areas of life. With J.C. and Jess being so close, and J.C. and Matt forming a relationship, they needed J.C. to be apart of this day.
