How should I dress?

Answer

Please refrain from wearing white or black, we’d love for everyone to be in color throughout the weekend. The Welcome Party will be semi-formal/cocktail attire, while the ceremony and reception will be formal. Guests are encouraged to wear either Desi-inspired or American-inspired clothing for all events. For Desi-inspired attire, men can wear kurtas, and women can wear lehenga cholis or sarees. If you’re looking for options, we recommend checking out www.Lashkaraa.com or www.IndianWeddingSaree.com. For American-inspired attire, men can wear button-down shirts with an optional tie for the Welcome Party, and a shirt with a tie for the ceremony and reception. Women can opt for cocktail dresses for the Welcome Party and midi to floor-length dresses for the ceremony and reception.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

You can begin arriving at the venue by 10 AM and we ask that you are seated by 10:45 AM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 11 AM.

Is there transportation to the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, we will be arranging a shuttle service to provide transportation from the hotels to the venue. Shuttle schedules will be determined closer to the date of the ceremony.

How do I get to the hotel from the airport?

Answer

We recommend either renting a car or getting an Uber/Lyft.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held outdoors under a tented structure. While the tent will provide full coverage, we recommend that guests dress appropriately for an outdoor setting.

What time does the reception begin and end?

Answer

The reception will begin at 6 PM, and the bride and groom will have a grand entrance at 7 PM. There is no planned end time for the reception.
