ARE KIDS WELCOME?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding celebration will be an adults-only event. However if childcare is an issue and it means the difference between you attending or not, please feel free to reach out to the bride and groom.

ARE PHONES ALLOWED?

Answer

We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony. We have two amazing photographers and one videographer that will be capturing the moments throughout the celebration.

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?

Answer

Autumn at Chalet View Lodge is wonderfully unpredictable! While it’s too early to predict the exact weather, please come prepared for anything—from sunshine to rain to the possibility of snowfall. Fortunately, our venue is well-equipped to handle any weather, and no matter the forecast, it will be a stunning setting for our celebration!

ARE DOGS ALLOWED AT CHALET VIEW LODGE?

Answer

All dogs are welcome at Chalet View Lodge! A $50 fee applies per night per pet. We’re excited that our wedding resort is dog-friendly however, please note that dogs will not be allowed at the ceremony or reception. We appreciate your understanding.

WILL YOUR WEDDING BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

Answer

Both the rehearsal dinner and wedding ceremony will be held outdoors, so be sure to dress accordingly for the weather. However, our reception will be held in a beautiful all-weather tent, so we’ll be comfortable no matter what the weather brings.

IS THERE TRANSPORTATION AVAILABLE AROUND THE RESORT?

Answer

Our venue is tucked away in a lovely but remote area, so there are no public transportation or ride-sharing options like Uber or Lyft available. For those flying in from out of town, we recommend coordinating carpool or arranging transportation (car rental) in advance.

IS THERE PARKING FOR THE CEREMONY OR RECEPTION?

Answer

Parking is available on-site for all guests, including those who are staying off-site. We’ve made sure there’s plenty of space for everyone, so feel free to park at the venue when you arrive!

I HAVE A FOOD ALLERGY, CAN I MAKE A SPECIAL REQUEST?

Answer

We’d love to accommodate your food allergy! Please let us know the specific allergy or dietary restriction in advance through your RSVP or by contacting us directly. We'll pass information along to our catering team to ensure a safe and delicious meal for you.

WHEN SHOULD I RSVP BY?

Answer

While the official RSVP won't be required until August of 2026, we’d really appreciate it if you could let us know if you’re more than likely not able to attend. We completely understand if you’re unable to join us—your presence will be missed! This will help us get a better idea of the guest count as we continue to plan. Please reach out by email or phone if you think you'll be unable to make it.

IS THERE A NOISE RESTRICTION?

Answer

No. As we have booked the whole property for our wedding there are no noise restrictions, so feel free to celebrate with us all night!

CHECK IN TIME FOR HOTEL?

Answer

The Chalet View Lodge is a small boutique hotel that is unable to accommodate early check-ins or late check-outs. Check-in time is 4:00 pm and check-out time is 11:00 am. Please keep the event start time in mind when making your reservations.

CHALET VIEW LODGE CANCELLATION POLICY?

Answer

Upon booking your hotel room, Chalet View Lodge will require a deposit of one night plus taxes and fees. If you are staying for multiple nights, they will charge the balance for the remaining night(s) upon check-out. If you need to cancel your reservation for any reason, please do so at least 72 hours before you are scheduled to check-in, and the lodge will issue a 100% refund of your deposit. If you cancel within the 72 hour window, unfortunately you forfeit your deposit.

HOW DO I MAKE CHANGES TO MY HOTEL RESERVATION?

Answer

The front desk does not have access to create, modify, or cancel reservations within group blocks. The easiest way to switch a room type is to visit the website, www.chaletviewlodge.com, click on the “check availability” button on the top right, then scroll all the way to the bottom of that page. There, you’ll see a dark gray “Modify or Cancel a Reservation or Itinerary” button. Click on that, then search for the reservation by confirmation number (found in the confirmation email in your inbox) or by email and password if you created an account. Once logged in, you have full control and can change the reservation date, room type, etc.
