Rent a tube from a local outfitter (Backdoor Sports and Bucking Rainbow Outfitters are two examples) and tube down the Yampa river! The free town shuttles bring you to a drop in point and you can ride the river back to town. Bring a beer or three and relax in the Colorado sunshine while cruising down a beautiful river.

We highly recommend exploring the boutiques and shops on Lincoln Ave in downtown Steamboat. FM Light & Sons is a must visit if you are looking for a fresh pair of boots or last minute western attire. For those driving from Denver, you will not miss the signs for this shop :)
