Well, we nerdy kids role-played a hand-fasting, and I had to stop and break character because we were getting emotional... And I asked how much she wanted to be real. She said she needed to think about it. Several months, a health scare, an extra week, and a talk with her therapist (and I quote "to make sure [she's] not crazy") later? She comes sweeping breathlessly into my room all glowing and aflutter and says "Yes~" My Useless Aromantic Ass goes: "Yes what, Babe? :D" "Yes, I'll Marry You~" So yeah! We kinda got play married before we got engaged, before we got rings, before we asked/told parents anything. Because we can't do anything straight.

Are You Sure You're Ready?

Absolutely. People have gotten married in far worse, with far less, with less conviction and trust and determination than we have. And still made it. I'm sure that I want to build a life with, and share my life with, this amazing, wonderful person. I'm sure that I count myself lucky and so very blessed, every single day, for sharing our lives together. I'm sure I want to give them the best life I can, for the rest of my life, for as long as I'm allowed. And I know that we inspire each other to do better, and be better. We help each other be our best selves. I believe we can take on anything, together.

Rowan Aliyah Quinn: They like They/Them or Thon pronouns, because they are Agender and Intersex. They prefer the title Mx. instead of Mr. or Mrs. They prefer Fiance or Betrothed, and Spousling instead of Groom or Bride. Example: Mx. Rowan Quinn is the Spousling on the left. Jacie Colmorgen Thorpe: She is the Bride, and uses Ms. until she is married, and then will switch to Mrs. She's the Fiancee and the Bride.

Rowan: I love how resilient and resourceful, calm, kind, and loving she is. To everyone, far beyond my level of patience. I love how enthusiastic she gets about challenges and things she finds interesting and fun. I love her sense of humor. How she can just let loose and be childlike and silly with me. I love how tender and softhearted she can be, how considerate and balanced she is with her every word and thought. And her smile! And how she just brightens my world just being around~ Jacie:

Hopefully in Asbury Park somewhere. Jacie has mentioned possibly eventually joining Asbury's Fire Department or finishing her degree in Aerospace Engineering, and Rowan hopes to be a Writer, Wedding Planner, or Streamer on the side... But plans to own the Dental Handpiece Repair business they're apprenticing to take over! Other location possibilities thrown around have been Red Bank, Rhode Island, Vermont, and some far-fetched locales such as Japan, Canada, or Scotland.
