Can I bring my children?

Answer

We love your children! However, due to restricted numbers at our venue we are only able to accommodate children in the wedding party. Thank you for your understanding.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

Please do not take pictures during the ceremony, as we have hired a professional photographer and do not want sneaky cell phone screens making their way into our photo albums. However, have fun and take as many photos as you’d like during cocktail hour and the reception! Make sure to use the hashtag #TrouxLove if you post anything to social media so we can find them later!

Where should I stay?

Answer

We’ve included a few options in our “Travel” tab. Airbnb is the best choice for proximity to the venue. There are several great hotel options near Concord Mills Mall, which is a 20 minute drive from the venue. We are recommending the Embassy Suites from personal experience, but there are multiple reliable hotels in the vicinity. Please feel free to reach out to us directly if you would like further advice or assistance in selecting your accommodations.

Is the venue indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both! The ceremony will take place outdoors in a covered area with ceiling fans. Weather permitting, the cocktail hour will be outdoors on the patio. The reception will be in the air conditioned barn.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Please note there are two barns that are used for weddings on the property. Go to this address: 8063 Mauney Road, Mount Pleasant, NC 28124. Our barn is brown. If you end up at a red barn you are in the wrong place!

Where should guests park?

Answer

There is parking in the grassy field to the right of the barn. Follow the driveway until you see the large brown barn, and the parking area will be visible on the right. Parking is free.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Answer

The catered food has gluten free and dairy free options as is. If you require vegan or vegetarian options please reach out to us directly at the time of your RSVP and we will gladly provide an option for you. Is transportation provided?

Answer

We are not providing group transportation following the reception. If you plan on consuming alcohol at the wedding please be responsible. We love you all and want you to be safe and have a great time.

When is the RSVP deadline and how do I RSVP?

Answer

The deadline to RSVP is May 11th, 2022. Click on the “RSVP” tab on this website to submit your RSVP. Type in your name as it appears on your invitation and you will be prompted to enter who will be attending the wedding.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no” so we can plan accordingly.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

For those who might not be familiar with North Carolina weather, it will definitely be warm in June. The humidity won’t be as bad as later summer months, but we suggest you dress for a warm summer day!
