After a couple weeks of exchanging Bumble messages (of course our first conversation was about VT football - go Hokies!), we went on a group date with friends at the Virtue, in Old Town Alexandria. From that point on, we were inseparable. From speakeasys in the city, to Cartagena, Colombia, - From Sayulita, Mexico, to the coasts of Rhode Island, and every Fenwick Island trip in between, we are so incredibly grateful for our life we are creating. The best is yet to come and we are so excited each and every one of you is there to celebrate with us!

While on our long overdue COVID-cancelled vacation to Morocco, Austin popped the question and it was a total surprise! Starting in the beaches of Essaouira, then heading down to the Souks of Marrakech, we were having just a normal fun time. We made our way down to go glamping in the Sahara Desert, and man was it more than just glamping. After waking up at 5am, we were on our way to explore the Sahara on CAMELBACK. Starting our camel ride during the moonlit milky way sky for about 2 miles, we finally hit a tall sand dune to climb up. Just as it was turning sunrise, Austin got down on one knee, and PROPOSED! Mini Mohammad was ON IT with taking every and any photo to capture our amazing experience! After soaking in the rays, and all the excitement, we camel-rode back to the campsite. After breakfast, we popped some (or a lot) of bubbly and lounged by the pool all day. That night, Hasan, Mohammad, and Mubarak set us up with the most amazing, romantic candlelight dinner under the milky way, starry sky. We were serenaded by their friend's band from Senegal, and celebrated with a homemade heart-shaped cake from their village. It was truly a dream! After one more stop in Marrakech, we headed back to home - where Austin threw a total surprise with having our families travel in for an initial engagement party. We are in awe of the amount of love and support we have gotten and are so excited to POP MORE BUBBLY and to celebrate our forever adventure.
