Our story began in God's Country... Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge! What started as an easy friendship fueled by the same sense of humor and love for making others laugh, eventually grew into something more. Being around each other was always effortless, but it didn't take long to realize: life was just better, brighter, and infinitely more fun whenever we were together. Thank you, God! After graduation, life brought us right back to where it all began - Luke decided to stay put instead of moving home, and I made my way back to Baton Rouge. Soon enough, Luke asked me on our first date! After almost 2 years on March 27th, he proposed in St. Francisville. He picked a date that holds such a special place in my family - my parents' and grandparents' wedding anniversary - and brought both our families along for the surprise! Luke was the sweetest, most nervous version of himself, and through some happy tears, he asked me to marry him. Sharing that moment with our families (missed you Hayden and Hope) was the perfect start to our next chapter. We can't wait to keep the celebration going with all of you!
