Grab a glass of delicious beer at one of the amazing breweries in Buena Vista. Our favorites include Eddyline, Deerhammer Distillery, and Browns Canyon Brewing. Be careful though - the altitude can make one beer feel like a few more if you're not used to it.
Watch your golf ball fly through the thin rocky mountain air at 7000 feet of elevation in Salida, Colorado. Just a 20 minute drive from the wedding venue, this golf course provides an affordable 18 hole experience with breathtaking mountain views.
Add an extra few minutes to your drive from the airport and experience the town of Breckenridge in all of its summer glory. Hike trails, visits breweries, shop, and find some of the best restaurants in the state before driving down one of the most scenic highways in the world. Would you rather let the car do the work? Skip the hike and drive up Cottonwood Pass for some of the most incredible views in the area. See the Gunnison and San Isabel national forests, the continental divide, and the freshly bloomed aspen trees that line this winding road.
Once a booming mining town in the late 1800s, Saint Elmo is now a US National Historic Place and one of Colorados most well-preserved ghost towns. Right down the road from Deer Valley Ranch, you don't have to go far to check on the ghouls.
