It all started with a beer

We met at the WASA fields when I (Britt) was asked to play on his slow pitch team, DeHavens, by a mutual friend. We didn't really communicate much that summer, but we saw each other every week at our games. DeHavens also did a team bowling party each year, and that's when I really got to meet his family & I, after some Miller Lite and Red Stag, happened to say "I could really see myself being a part of this family". Flash forward to 2012 when I started bartending at Changos Cantina in Mansfield, and Chris and his work buddies would frequent often. It got to the point where when I would see Chris walk through the door with a bar 3 people deep, & I automatically had a Labatt on the bar for him no matter how busy I was. He moved away for a job and we both had separate lives for a few years, didn't talk much except for a Snap Chat here and there. In 2016, our paths aligned again when I sent a Snap Chat of a Landshark on the back steps of Changos with no words, and 15 minutes later, Chris showed up. We hung out all night & Corey Stevens dared me to kiss him and the rest was literally history. "It All Started With a Beer"
