FAQs

Question

How are you handling COVID?

Answer

The COVID-19 pandemic is ever-changing and we’ll be monitoring public health guidance as our wedding weekend approaches. Based on current guidance, we are requiring all guests to be fully vaccinated and boosted (if eligible for a booster) against COVID-19. If you wish not to be vaccinated and boosted, we look forward to celebrating with you another time! Thank you for your understanding and feel free to reach out with any questions.

Question

Can I drive myself and park at the venue for your events?

Answer

Unless you are staying on-site overnight, you are not allowed to drive and park at the venue. The Waterfall Lodge is located at the end of a long, windy, one-lane mountain road with very limited parking so all off-site guests will be required to take the provided shuttle.

Question

What is the shuttle schedule?

Answer

Friday April 1 Welcome Party Shuttle will run 4:30 - 6:00pm and 7:30 - 10:00pm making stops between Brookdale Lodge, St. Peter & Paul Church, and Waterfall Lodge every 20 minutes. First pick-up will be from Brookdale Lodge at 4:30pm. Saturday April 2 Ceremony & Reception Shuttle will run 2:00 - 3:30pm and 7:30 - 10:00pm making stops between Brookdale Lodge, St. Peter & Paul Church, and Waterfall Lodge every 10 minutes. First pick-up will be from Brookdale Lodge at 2:00pm.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Friday April 1 Welcome Party: Casual (jeans welcome!) Saturday April 2 Ceremony & Reception: Dressy Casual (classy dresses, slacks and sport coats, ties optional)

Question

Is the wedding outside or inside?

Answer

All of our events at the Waterfall Lodge will take place primarily outside. On Saturday evening, dessert and dancing will be inside the Lodge, but you’ll be able to move around the outdoor patio throughout the reception as well. Since we’ll be in a redwood forest in the spring, temperatures could drop at night, so please bring a jacket.
