Wedding Party

Meet our friends and family who will be walking down the aisle with us. They've each shared a favorite memory with the bride/groom.

Jess Burch-Konda

Maid of Honor

My favorite Olivia memory was our last-minute trip to Miami! Most of our time was spent napping in the sand or eating yummy food yet each moment/conversation was spontaneous and unforgettable. That trip is snapshot of our entire friendship: unplanned, full of laughs, and always an adventure!

Eli Roth

Best Man

Sam and I were on the same baseball team in elementary school. One game, Sam was playing second base and I was the catcher. Twice that game, someone tried to steal second base, and Sam and I got the runner out both times. We were a dynamic duo on the baseball diamond back in the day.

Leah Roth

Bridesmaid

My favorite memory with Olivia was spending time together wedding dress shopping!

Jonny Roth

Best Man

My favorite memory was golfing with just Sam in BBR. It was summer of 2023 and it was one of the first times Sam and I had that much time together alone. Because we were golfing, there were times where we would just be driving to a ball or waiting for people to hit. And even though we didn’t have deep meaningful conversations, we got just hang out together.

Tasha LaRocco

Bridesmaid

I have so many favorite memories with Olivia. We met during our program interview and instantly clicked—something in me just knew we’d be friends. Moving in together only confirmed it. From late-night froyo runs after long, emotional days to third wheeling with Olivia and Sam. There’s never been a moment where we aren’t enjoying life together, even in the hard seasons. I’m truly blessed to know these two beautiful people, every time Olivia and I are together, she fills my cup in ways I can’t fully put into words.

Chandler Ooms

Groomsman

My favorite memory with Sam is deep sea fishing with him and my dad in Mexico. We both puked multiple times and decided to never go deep sea fishing again.

Natalie Moons

Bridesmaid

My favorite memory with Olivia is when Marshall and I went to Shell Beach for the weekend, and while Marshall took an engineering exam, Liv and I got to spend the whole day together! We soaked in time just the two of us after we hadn’t seen each other in awhile, and then Liv joined Marshall and I for dinner at Zorro’s. Such a sweet day!!

Ben Habelt

Groomsman

One time, Sam and I drove around downtown Lafayette and put dish soap in every public fountain we could find. The cops were called on one of the fountains, but we went back while they were still there to see how bubbly it was. I would say it was definitely bubbly enough to warrant the cops being called.

Kathryn Kasbergen

Bridesmaid

One of my favorite memories of Liv was when I convinced her on my birthday to run a half marathon with me—mostly because I knew she couldn’t say no! That weekend in Carmel turned out to be such a special one, not just because we got to race together, but because it’s when I really got to know Sam, too. Liv crushed the race, and we spent the whole weekend enjoying the views and eating lots of food after expelling all those calories.

Godebo Chapman

Groomsman

Hiking Boomerang Lake with Sam and Brett (youth pastor)! Our campsite was amazing along with the stars. Also, throwing the frisbee down the mountain as the sun was setting!

Sophia Moons

Bridesmaid

I think my favorite memory is when the Couper girls all visited you in Huntington for spring break and got to stay at your grandpa's house and just see where you grew up, that was such a fun trip!!

Brysan Pesenti

Groomsman

Sam and I have shared many memories in a relatively short period of time. Some of my favorites come from the many late nights we spent playing pickleball together at Cal Poly. I actually met Sam for the first time on a pickleball court. I remember being shocked at the sight of another person under the age of 60 playing pickleball! Sam reached out to me and our friendship grew from there. I am truly blessed to have met Sam three years ago on that pickleball court. I feel like I’ve known him my whole life and consider him a brother.

Maddie Freund

Bridesmaid

My favorite memory is living with Liv my senior year of college, watching our shows together, and making Hugo spritzes!

Kipper Hollister

Groomsman

Many of my favorite memories with Sam have been sitting around a table playing cards. Whether that meant messing up bets in Skull King or stealing stacks in Cover Your Assets, those game nights turned into fond memories. Sam is competitive and knows how to win, so much so that by the end of high school, he had a steady income playing poker against me! Playing cards with Sam brings back so many fond memories in Tahoe, Lafayette, or at Pazzi, and many funny moments. Sam has a unique ability to light up a table, and it’s easy to see why so many people want a seat!

Angelique Roeloffs

Bridesmaid

One of my favorite memories with Liv is when she came to Dublin, Ireland, to visit me for a week over New Year’s Eve. She has been such an incredible friend that even distance couldn’t stop her from celebrating together. I loved showing her my love for the Irish, and getting her to try Guinness for the first time. Of course, getting matching shirts was a priority.

James Walker

Groomsman

Some of my favorite memories with Sam were our annual Tahoe skiing trips. I loved spending time in the cabin playing games and skiing together during the day. One moment that always stands out was an icy run where Sam was trying to beat his fastest speed using an app on his phone—he ended up wiping out for over a hundred yards.

Carolina Portugal

Bridesmaid

One of my favorite memories with Olivia was showing her my hometown in Portugal and introducing her to my friends and family. And of course, our days working at Philz—full of laughs, especially the unforgettable moment when I “ripped my pants” (in my Portuguese accent).

Michael Chambers

Groomsman

My favorite memory of us was sophomore year when we went to the Grover Dunes to sled down the sand dunes and then afterward watched Lakers vs. Warriors playoff series.
