We met at a mutual friend’s birthday party, in a bar called…”Pour Judgement”. True story. Kara’s version: I noticed Matt the second he walked in- how could I miss the 6’3” tall man who everyone was SO happy to see??? I decided I would introduce myself, got way too nervous, smiled at him, and walked away to the bar. Maybe a minute later, there he was, saying hi. He rambled on and on about the game on the TV for a solid ten minutes, and when I told him I actually hated the team, so did he! I knew then I didn’t need to be nervous around Matt…because he was WAY more nervous around me. We spent the whole night dancing, singing, laughing, and by the end of it, he felt like home. He’s been my home ever since🤍 Matt’s version: I almost decided to not go out but said I’d go for 1 drink. As soon as I saw Kara I knew it was going to be more than 1. Her smile was the first thing I noticed, the second was that I was just staring at her and had nothing to say. Thankfully the Browns were on TV so as any beautiful girl loves I talked about them for 10 minutes straight. Even after all that she still wanted to get another drink together. I knew right then that there was something special about her. The rest of the night was filled with drinks, laughs, and a night I’ll never forget with my favorite person. Since that fateful night, our life has been filled with countless beautiful moments. We adopted our sweet sweet maniac, Ms. Pearl Girl Hart Morosky-Rothrock (she asked that we use her full legal name). We’ve had so many incredible adventures, including becoming first time home owners and learning something new every week! Through it all, we’ve always had each other. We wouldn’t change a moment of the road that led us to forever.
