Dani’s friend told her she knew of a great guy, who would be at a Temple get together, who she belived Dani would enjoy. Although hesitant to attend a party at an unfamiliar school, Dani decided to give it a shot. Her friend was delayed and arrived late, but it didn’t matter, as a really cute guy came over and starting talking with her. When Dani’s friend arrived an hour and half later, she tried to get her attention, but Dani was too caught up in her conversation with the handsome guy. Neither Dani nor the guy knew that they were each other’s arranged blind date! They exchanged numbers and Adam said he would call her. While Dani was driving back to Pittsburgh, Adam called. Although the trip back was longer than expected (due to an unforeseen traffic accident), Adam made it better. He stayed on the phone with her for 6 hours till she made it back to her apartment safely! Adam asked Dani out for a dinner date when she returned from Pittsburgh, and the rest is history!

Adam had planned to surprise Dani in Rochester, NY with a very special box of chocolates, prior to her family visting for Labor Day weekend. When Adam arrived, Dani was in class and he patiently waited for her to finish. Finally, when Dani finished, Adam handed Dani the box of chocolates and said “why don’t you have a chocolate?’ Feeling tired she responded ‘thanks so much, but nah I’ll have some tomorrow.” Adam persevered and suggested that they each have a chocolate. Dani responded “ Adam why do you have to try everything, I’ll have some tomorrow.” Determined, Adam tried again and said “just try one.” Dani took the box and said “fine!” . Inside the box was her engagement ring and before she could try any chocolate, Adam was down on one knee! It’s safe to say that Dani is now always ready to open any box offered with no further questions!
