We met the way most young people do these days: on a dating app! Deanna was in her last year of medical school, and Jacob had recently started his company. Deanna knew she liked Jake immediately, since he reached out by commenting on her favorite photo of her in the operating room. They started the night with drinks at a local bar, Hops N' Scotch, before making their way around the corner to Regal Beagle for another round. By their second date, candle pin bowling, they both knew this was something special!

Deanna had a rare weekend off, and planned to visit her family in Miami. Little did she know, Jacob had already spoken to her parents to plan an unforgettable evening. On Saturday, they began the day with brunch at Wynwood, then made their way to Miami Beach for a cocktail, before deciding to walk along the shoreline hand in hand. When they reached her grandparents' condo building, where Deanna spent all of her summers with her family growing up, Jake paused, and told her he had an important question to ask. As he got down on one knee, a photographer he hired was ready to capture the perfect moment! After spending some time together on the beach, they returned to Deanna's home where both of their families had gathered for a surprise champagne toast. They ended the incredible day celebrating over dinner with their families. It was safe to say after such a perfect weekend, neither of them wanted to return to Boston the following day!
