4 Noses Brewing Company
One of Drew's favorite old haunts for local drinks and food trucks! 4 Noses is located between our wedding venue in Westminster and Boulder in Broomfield.
Bruz Beers
Located walking distance from our home and not too far from the venue. This local brewery has wonderful Belgian beers.
Chautauqua Park
Beautiful easy, moderate, and more challenging hiking trails at this park. It's also close to the shops and restaurants in downtown Boulder.
Cheesman Park
This popular park is known as one of the most haunted spots in Denver for good reason: It started out as a cemetery. The Denver Botanic Gardens borders the east end of Cheesman Park. Huge old mansions and cute eateries are also in the area.
City Park
We used to live here! The park features a great view of the Denver skyline. The Denver Museum of Nature & Science and the Denver Zoo are right on the park's edge. Head to nearby Colfax Ave. for a wealth of delicious restaurants and breweries.
Golden Gate Canyon State Park
Located in nearby Golden, this state park is an ideal spot to hike and check out the changing fall colors. It's also close to the Coors brewery. Considering the time of year, it's possible the Aspen leaves will be just beginning to turn bright gold, and this is a great location to see that.
Guanella Pass
This is the best option available for folks who prefer driving to see fall colors, as opposed to hiking. We recommend going in the morning before it gets too crowded. The views off this mountain pass are stunning.
Machete Tequila + Tacos
The margaritas and langosta tacos at Machete are two of our favorites! This restaurant is close to our old stomping grounds in City Park and still holds a special place in our hearts.
Mezcal
We went here on our first date! Located close to City Park and by a number of other famous historical Denver landmarks, such as Cheesman Park and the Molly Brown House Museum.
Olde Town Arvada
There are a ton of great spots in this family-friendly neighborhood! We recommend New Image Brewing (that's the address listed here) and the Arvada Tavern, but there are other restaurants, coffee shops, and galleries/souvenir shops in the area as well.
