Our story began New Year’s Eve, 2013. Brittany had just graduated from San Jose State University, and Stephen had left his Finance Job to pursue his passion in health and fitness. Stephen accompanied by Nick, Eric and Robel, set out for one of their favorite spots, Los Gatos Bar and Grill, for an unforgettable New Year’s Eve Celebration. Brittany, accompanied by Christine, and Jessica, also set out for Los Gatos Bar and Grill to ring in the New Year. As fate would have it, Brittany pulled Stephen on the dance floor. There was no New Year’s kiss, but an undeniable spark! Our first date was El Jardin on Santana Row, along with Rosie McCann’s for a few cocktails and dancing. The night ended with an hour long conversation in Brittany’s beloved Pontiac. In true Brittany and Stephen fashion, Brittany’s car died. Stephen, in his benevolent, yet quirky pursuit of chivalry, volunteered to jump the car while Brittany scrounged out a day old granola bar for a late night snack! From our first date there was magic, laughter, and a little bit of nuance that set the scene for a lifetime of love. Our love story came full circle on April 20th, 2019. A convertible Jaguar was our ride for the day, as we made pitstops at a few of our favorite South Bay date spots. An overcast setting at Vasona lake marked the pinnacle of the afternoon with a lake side proposal to kick off the next chapter in our love story.
