Think “Garden Party/Cocktail Attire." Nothing too formal—we just want you to feel your best. Wear what makes you comfortable, whether that's a cocktail dress, a gown, slacks and a shirt, a suit with or without a tie, or even a tux. The reception will be under a tent in the backyard, so keep in mind there will be grass, outdoor elements, and possibly cooler evening temperatures.
Nope! Wear whatever you like.
Yes! Shuttles will run between the hotel (Holiday Inn Express Branford-New Haven) and the wedding. Please RSVP via the wedding website by August 27, 2025.
Nope! We won’t be sending formal invitations—everything you need to know is right here on our wedding website. Be sure to RSVP on here!
All hotel block details are listed under the "Lodging" section. We’ve reserved a block at the Holiday Inn Express in Branford, CT, and a shuttle will be available to and from the wedding.
We love all your kiddos, but kindly ask that you find a babysitter for the night. Thanks for understanding. Parents night out - woo!
If your date’s name wasn’t listed on your invite, please check with us to see if we have room. While it’s a backyard wedding, space is still limited.
Yes, the pizza truck offers options for all of these and takes special requests. They will also be serving salad.
There are several ways to get to Guilford: ✈️ Flying: Hartford, CT (BDL) – ~1 hour and 15 minutes away New Haven, CT (HVN) – ~15 minutes away (smaller airport with limited flights, great for those flying from the Southeast) New York City (JFK, LGA, EWR) – ~2 hours away Boston (BOS) – ~2.5 hours away 🚆 Train Options: From NYC, you can take the Amtrak or Metro-North to New Haven. From Boston, Amtrak runs to Old Saybrook or New Haven. *I recently flew into EWR (Newark, NJ) and was able catch the Amtrak from the airport to take straight to New Haven. Please Note: aside from EWR, if flying into any other NYC airport (JFK, LGA) or into the Boston airport (BOS), you will have to leave the airport in order to navigate to the trains. 🚗 Rental Car / Driving: Renting a car is probably your easiest and most flexible option—especially since rideshares like Uber and Lyft can be somewhat limited in the area. Plus, having a car makes it much easier to explore the area’s beaches, shops, and charming small towns while you're here :) * Always feel free to reach out to us for travel help/suggestions *
