Ross and Talia met in their 10th grade precalculus class. Talia likes to joke that when they first met, it was like the plotline in Mean Girls where Cady pretends to be bad at math so she can talk to Aaron Samuels more, except Talia legitimately didn't understand what was being taught and Ross actually did. Their first date was on June 9th of 2014, right after their precalc class's final exam, at a now-closed McAllister's restaurant when they were just 15 and 16 years old, and they've been together ever since. Ross and Talia did four years of long distance when they attended separate colleges three and a half hours away from one another, with Ross at UVA and Talia at UNC, but they both moved to the DC area after graduation. They recently purchased a condo in Arlington, Virginia, where they live with their cat Juniper.
