Where will the wedding take place?

Our ceremony, cocktail and reception will be held at The Austin Country Club. We look forward to welcoming you.

What is the attire for the occasion?

Answer

We kindly request formal attire / black tie optional. Please join us in dressing to reflect the elegance of this special day. For guidance, here’s what that means: For women: Floor-length gowns are most traditional, but elegant midi dresses or elevated cocktail dresses are also perfect. Think refined fabrics like silk, satin, chiffon, or crepe. Heels or dressy sandals complete the look, and you can go glam with jewelry, but keep it polished and sophisticated. For men: Tuxedos are welcome and encouraged, but not required. A dark suit (black, navy, or charcoal) with a white dress shirt is perfectly appropriate. Ties or bow ties are expected for this level of formality, and dress shoes are a must.

Will transportation be provided? Will there be Parking?

Answer

Complimentary transportation arrangements will be available for guests on a round-trip basis from The Thompson Hotel on Saturday evening to the wedding venue. If you are planning to ride the shuttle to and from the venue, please RSVP “yes” to the shuttle so we can include you in the transportation count. Final details, including exact shuttle departure times, will be shared closer to the wedding date. For guests who prefer additional flexibility, Uber and Lyft are readily available and are great options for transportation throughout the evening. For those driving themselves, complimentary valet parking will be provided at the Austin Country Club for your convenience.

Attendance is reserved for those listed on your invitation due to capacity. We appreciate your understanding.

Will there be options for dietary preferences & Open Bar?

Answer

Absolutely. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free selections will be available upon request. An open bar will be provided, featuring a curated selection of wines, spirits, and signature cocktails.

Are children/ infants welcome?

Answer

We adore little ones, but for this occasion, we kindly request an adults-only celebration. Thank you for understanding, and helping us create an intimate atmosphere for all guests. Also enjoy a parent's night out!

Where are you registered?

Answer

Our registry is connected to multiple stores. You can access our registry from this website. Your presence is the greatest gift, but should you wish to contribute, please visit our registry.

May I take photographs during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests refrain from photography during the ceremony to preserve its intimacy. Our professional photographer will capture every moment. However, please snap pictures and videos anytime before or after! We can't wait to see the pictures from the night!

Will the event be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outside and cocktail hour/ reception will be indoors. Should weather conditions change, arrangements have been made to ensure your comfort.

Are there any room blocks available?

Answer

Our official room block is at The Thompson Austin, part of Hyatt—which is also the same location as our welcome party.
