How do I book my cabin?

Answer

We recommend booking through our travel agent, Cindy Ray, to ensure your reservation is linked to the Ross-Nubbmyer wedding. This guarantees you’re included in all wedding events, group communications, and any perks we may receive. You can contact Cindy Ray at 1-443-789-9990 or cindy@momsatsea.com to book your cabin. If you’d like to book over the phone, it’s best to email her your contact information and ask her to call you. She will also monitor for price adjustments and handle any changes for you. If you prefer to book on your own, you will still need to send the reservation to our agent as well as call Royal Caribbean directly to have your reservation linked to ours. Booking with our agent does not cost extra—it’s included in the cruise price.

Do I have to book through your travel agent?

You're welcome to book on your own, but we highly recommend using our travel agent, so you're included in our wedding group. This will make things much easier for everyone. She'll handle your cabin reservation and make sure you're linked to our celebration as well as adjust your price if it drops before the final payment to make sure you’re getting the best deal. If you do not book through the agent, you will need to send her your reservation as well as call Royal Caribbean directly to make sure you are linked to our wedding celebration. Please let us know if you book without going through our agent otherwise we do not know you’ve booked a cabin for our wedding. Flights, hotels, and other travel arrangements are up to you, but our agent can answer questions if you need guidance.

Does it cost extra to book through our travel agent?

Answer

No, there is no additional cost to use our travel agent. In fact, booking through her ensures your reservation is part of our wedding group, helps us coordinate plans, and may qualify us for group perks like onboard credit or special dining options. She will also monitor for price adjustments and promotions before the final payment, so you can take advantage of any savings Royal Caribbean offers after you book.

Can I Choose My Own Room If I Book Through the Travel Agent?

Yes! When booking with our travel agent for the Ross-Nubbmyer wedding, you can absolutely choose your own stateroom category and location, based on availability. The agent will provide options and help you pick the best cabin for your preferences and budget.

How much does the cruise cost?

Answer

Prices vary depending on the stateroom type and current Royal Caribbean rates. The lowest rate currently (as of 8/22/25) is running $618 per person (based on dual occupancy) for an interior room. Our travel agent can provide you with the most accurate and up-to-date pricing when you're ready to book. The price you see on Royal Caribbean's website will be the same as the price through our travel agent - but booking through her keeps our group together for potential perks, coordinated plans and makes the process easier for everyone.

How much is the deposit and when is final payment due?

The deposit is $100 per person, and final payment is due March 15, 2026.

What's included in the cruise price?

Answer

Your cabin, meals in the main dining room and buffet, entertainment, and most activities are included. Specialty dining, drinks, Wi-Fi, and excursions are extra.

Are drinks included?

Answer

Basic drinks like water, coffee, tea, lemonade and juices are included. Alcoholic beverages, soda and specialty coffees require a drink package or can be purchased individually.

Should I buy a drink package?

Answer

Royal Caribbean offers several beverage packages: • Deluxe Beverage Package (alcohol + non-alcohol): $56–$115 per person, per day before gratuity • Refreshment Package (non-alcoholic only): $29–$42 per person, per day • Soda Package: $12–$18 per person, per day Important: If one person in a cabin buys the Deluxe Beverage Package, everyone of legal drinking age in that cabin must also purchase it. Tip: If you plan to have around 5–6 alcoholic drinks per day, the Deluxe Package is usually worth it. Prices in the Cruise Planner often drop to $60–$80/day during sales, and you can cancel and rebook at the lower price.

What drinks can I bring aboard?

Royal Caribbean allows you to bring two bottles of wine or champagne (750 ml each) per stateroom at embarkation, plus 12 cans or cartons of non-alcoholic beverages (up to 17 oz each) per stateroom. No beer or liquor is allowed.

Are gratuities included or extra?

Answer

No, standard gratuities are not included in the base cruise fare. Royal Caribbean automatically adds a daily gratuity to your account—currently $18 per person, per day for standard staterooms and $20.50 per person, per day for suites (subject to change by Royal Caribbean). This covers your stateroom attendant and dining staff.

Do I Need a Passport for the Cruise?

Passports are not required for U.S. citizens on this sailing, but they are strongly recommended. If you do not have a passport, you will need a government-issued photo ID (such as a driver’s license) and an original or certified copy of your birth certificate. Royal Caribbean’s policy states that for closed-loop cruises (starting and ending at the same U.S. port), these documents are acceptable. However, having a passport makes travel easier in case of emergencies or unexpected situations.

What airport should I fly into?

The closest airport is Miami International Airport (MIA), about 15 minutes from the Port of Miami. Another option is Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), which is about 35–45 minutes away and may offer more flight options or lower fares. *Keep in mind that South Florida is known for traffic delays. Be sure delays be sure to allow extra time to drive to the port/airport.

Are there recommended hotels near the port?

Answer

There are three popular areas to stay when in Miami for a cruise. The airport area is conveniently located near the airport if you're arriving into Miami late and don't want to drive too far. Downtown Miami is about a 15 minute drive without traffic and offers dining and entertainment the night before your cruise with only a quick ride to the port on embarkation day. South Beach is a lively area on the beach offering night life, entertainment, and iconic Miami experiences. How do I get from the airport to the port?

Answer

The easiest options are a quick rideshare (Uber/Lyft) or taxi, which usually takes about 10–15 minutes from most downtown Miami hotels. Some hotels may also offer a shuttle service to the port, so be sure to check with your hotel when booking. We can try to help coordinate groups for ride sharing closer to the cruise if needed.

Are kids welcome at the wedding and on the cruise?

Absolutely! This is a family-friendly celebration, and kids are welcome to join the cruise and the wedding at Coco Cay. Royal Caribbean has amazing kids' programs and activities for all ages, so it will be a great trip for the whole family!
