FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

Kindly respond before May 15th so that we can send the final counts to our vendors.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Our venue has a limited capacity, and we will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Due to capacity constraints and the nature of the venue, we are keeping our wedding to guests 18+ only.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive between 5:00-5:15pm so that you have time to settle in. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30pm.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding is cocktail attire. We are excited to see our loved ones show up and show out! Mid-length dresses and slacks are perfect. No jeans or sneakers, please.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception will be held indoors. However, since we are in an old building, it can get a little warm. You are also free to check out the indoor taproom and outdoor patio, both of which are open to the public as well.

Question

What are we eating and drinking?

Answer

We will be serving a build-your-own-taco bar from Gomez Salsa. Please let us know in your RSVP if you have any dietary restrictions. To drink, please enjoy beer and wine on us! Urban Artifact is known for some great sours, but don't worry, there will be a "normal" beer available.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

Urban Artifact has agreements with Chase Elementary School and Donnellon McCarthy Enterprises located nearby. Please park in their lots, as the taproom will be open, and parking right outside of the venue will be limited.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We have hired a professional photographer, so please keep your phones and cameras put away during the ceremony. Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take all the pictures you want!

Question

Is the location handicap accessible?

Answer

The building we are getting married in was built in 1873 and is only accessible by a small set of stone stairs. Please let us know if this is an issue for you.
