because vegas is more fun than a courthouse, cheaper than los angeles, and it gives us an excuse to play dragon spin slots for a weekend
yeah... sorry about that. we were originally just going to do a really small ceremony in vegas with a reception later in LA, but then we realized throwing a big party in LA is EXPENSIVE (who knew?). this became our more affordable backup plan.
Blake's recommendations: well, if you're a red-blooded American, you'll be gambling with a drink in your hand hoping your triple parlay pulls through. but if you hate fun there are a million shows, carnival rides, and other pools to visit. kristen's recommendations: get a big ol' boozy slushy and plop yourself down at a dragon spin slot machine (make sure you turn the volume all the way up for the full experience). that should keep you entertained for a solid few hours.
I mean... I guess? but do you really want to bring your kids to vegas?
cocktail attire for the ceremony & reception... but it's vegas, so make it fun (bold colors! fun cuts! maybe get crazy with a sequin or two!). looking GOOD is the main requirement.
there will be a shuttle available from the Mandalay Bay to the reception site leaving around 5:45pm from the beach level valet. If you aren't staying in/near the Mandalay you can get there on your own via Lyft. The same shuttles will be taking us from the reception to the Taco Bell Cantina. You're welcome to ride if you're going to keep the party going. Otherwise, the casino has an easy Lyft pick up area.
rsvps are being collected through the paperless post invite- do it there. don't make us chase you. we're really busy.
leave us alone.
