Wrightsville Beach
Any time of day on Wrightsville is perfect. Our absolute favorite way to enjoy Wrightsville is the South End for sunset. Pack a cooler, head to the southern most parking lot (beach access #43), take the path at the far end of the lot and make the couple minute walk down to the water. Here you will find the perfect spot to watch the sunset over the ICW. Parking is limited and busy at sunset so come early!
Wrightsville SUP
Kayak and paddleboard rental. At low tide you can paddle to a local favorite sand bar - Palm Tree Island.
Dockside Restaurant
Restaurant/bar on the ICW. Come here for drinks with a view on the water. Skip the dining area (food is average) and head right to the bar - find a seat on the first or second level of the deck and watch the sunset. One of our favorite spots! Very relaxed, fun atmosphere.
Ceviche's
A must!!! Latin inspired food for lunch or dinner. Make a reservation.
Bluewater Waterfront Grill
Waterfront restaurant on the ICW. Request outside seating.
Poe's Tavern

Oceanfront restaurant on Wrightsville. Come here if you are looking for a restaurant right on the beach. Request to sit on the pier!
Cloud 9 Rooftop Bar
Hands down the best place in downtown Wilmington to see the sunsets over the Cape Fear River. Located at the Embassy Suites rooftop. Come here for cocktails and an app! It’s a must if spending time downtown.
