As many of you know, the original wedding day for Mike and Melanie did not go as planned. Now that the world is back to “normal", The Rossi’s and Seitz's are pleased to finally celebrate as one family! For those who do not know, Mike and Melanie were planning a beautiful wedding for the spring of 2020… but a global pandemic changed their plans. Melanie’s mother, Mayra (living in the Netherlands at the time), called and urged the couple to scrap the April wedding, find a priest, and get married ASAP. Mike and Mel would wed just a day and a half later on the morning of the first day of Spring, Saturday, March 21, 2020. Though St. Theresa's Church looked empty to the naked eye, the couple was overwhelmed by the fullness they felt during their wedding ceremony. Truly the angels and saints were in attendance in proxy for all of you! They will forever be grateful to the family members who live streamed the wedding to guests around the world, for the 7 family members who were able to physically attend the humble ceremony, and for the friends who waited in the church parking lot to congratulate them! While different than expected, it was the perfect beginning of a beautiful life together – and the forced 3-month honeymoon was a bonus! We are excited to finally celebrate - to the first 5 years, and to many, many more - with everyone in person!
