We're Getting Hitched!!

We had met numerous times though out the year after I (Samantha) moved back to Yampa. Then one night we both happened to be meeting a mutual friend for a few drinks. At the end of the night as we were all headed home Michael made sure that I had made it home safe. We went a few days without talking much, and on the 4th of July as I was sitting at my booth I decided to message Michael. He ended up coming by and saying hi before wandering off. I proceeded to clean up my booth and went to go watch the polo game. Once I got there I realized none of my close friends were standing there, and I saw Michael a few trucks down, so I went to go hang out with him and everyone else at their truck. At the end of the day Michael asked me to go water cows with him, and we have spent most everyday together since then.

On our 1 year anniversary we were back where we had started... Yampa 4th of July. The difference was that this year Michael was helping me set up my booth and had a surprise in store for me. Whether there were signs or not I couldn't tell you. I was so focused on setting up my booth and helping customers, that I probably wouldn't have even noticed if there were! Fast forward to that night, we were deciding if we wanted to go watch fireworks in town, or from the house. We finally decided to watch from the house. I remember feeling like he had something on his mind, but seemed to be having a hard time saying whatever it was. Shortly after that thought running through my mind I was looking down at him on one knee asking me to spend the rest of our lives together. It was the perfect way to end our anniversary night.
