Our Bride and Groom met in high school. Alex was always great friends with Brooke’s brother, Noah. Alex and Brooke could frequently be seen attached at the hip. While Brooke was in her sophomore year of college, Alex was working as a contractor on the road. The two crossed paths again and have been inseparable since. Quickly, they moved into a tiny apartment in Aurora, IN, where they would go on to buy a home. They now live with their two dogs and remain an inseparable pair.
One summer night, Alex drove Brooke 4 hours away to a glass home in the middle of the Arizona desert. Brooke and Alex played cards and laughed all night, this would be their last date as boyfriend and girlfriend. Early the next morning (3:30 AM to be exact...) Alex drove Brooke to a beautiful lookout over the Grand Canyon at Shoshone Point. The two hiked back about a mile through beautiful woodland. Just as the sun was rising over the canyon, Alex got down on one knee and beautifully asked for Brooke's hand in marriage. Both our Bride and Groom were filled with tears and emotions. Alex then surprised Brooke with an engagement photoshoot. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Madison!
