When Ross was ready to pop the question, he planned an elaborate scheme to suprise Tracey in a unique and romantic way. Ross and Tracey went for a walk along the beach in Ocean City, South Jersey, along with some of their friends. Everyone "just happened" to have their cameras out taking a lot of photos throughout the day because that's what friends do when they are on the beach together. When the timing was right, Ross distracted Tracey while one of his friends hid some oysters in the sea grass along the beach. Then when the group came upon the oysters, Ross offered to open them up, one for each of the gals in the group, to see if any contained a pearl. Oysters #1 and #2 came up empty, but when he got to Tracey's oyster, to her amazement, there WAS a pearl inside - already set in a ring. He asked the question, and she responded with "Yes! It's been yes from the day we met!" The surprise wasn't completely over. After getting back to the car, Ross popped a CD in the radio and played a new song that he had written, unbeknownst to Tracey. Called "Tracey's Smile", this song tells the story of the development of their relationship and the impact her smile has on him.
