September 18, 2019 Rachel hears an illusive “Ross” is moving to Colorado. “Interesting,” she thought. “Odds are he’s cute? Actually, odds a real-life Rachel ends up with a real-life Ross?” October 26, 2019 Rachel and Ross meet for the first time at a 60’s roller-skate party. Ross is in bell-bottoms, a button-up shirt, and a blonde wig. Rachel, channeling her inner Penny Lane, is immediately taken aback by the volume of this man’s voice (he has a voice modulation problem, OKAY!?!?), and fully overlooks his god-like skating abilities. March 7, 2020 On a ski trip in Jackson Hole, Rachel and her best friend, Callie, kidnap Ross (mostly so they could use his rental car) for a day out in town. On their way to brunch, Ross blurts out, “Let’s do something crazy today! Let’s steal a cow!” A Ross-ism still widely quoted today. The day escalates quickly (details have been sworn to secrecy) but ends with their first kiss. March 15, 2020 The world shuts down. Ross and Rachel (and Callie) stay in touch over text. ~We were on a break~ April 29, 2020 They finally see each other again post-shutdown… the spark still there. May 30, 2020 Rachel tells Ross she’s moving to Los Angeles. Ross tells Rachel he loves her. (A bold strategy.) June 7, 2020 Ross tells their friend, Via, he’s “not looking for anything serious." (A confusing strategy.) June 18, 2020 Rachel and Ross have their first real date at Cochino Taco. He wears a salmon colored shirt. Rachel maintains this was a nod to Ross from Friends. Ross maintains he’s never seen the show. July 4, 2020 While in Lake Powell together, Ross asks Rachel to be his girlfriend, even though she’s moving. She says yes and promises to come back in a year. May 30, 2022 Nearly two years later, after countless flights, FaceTimes, and “so when are you moving back?” conversations, Rachel finally returns to Colorado. They buy a house together where they still live with their dog, Hank. February 1, 2025 Ross proposes to Rachel while wearing crocs. July 31, 2026 The real-life Rachel and the real-life Ross are officially getting their happy ending!
