Three Rivers is the gateway town to this extraordinary place! You will be about 60 minutes away from the world's largest trees! Being that it will be March the weather can be fickle. There is a good chance you will need 4WD to get up the mountain and all vehicles are required to carry chains which you can rent from in town. Even if it's snowing in the forest, there will be plenty of wildflowers in the foothills to enjoy and walk around.
No explanation necessary. About 2 hour 15 minutes to 3.5 hours depending on the gate
THE BEST SANDWICH SHOP YOU WILL EVER HAVE. Ross and I have gone here countless times and have never been disappointed.
Great little brewery right in town. Grab a beer and some pupusas from the food truck. I recommend the River Red!
Exeter is an adorable little town about 25 away from Three Rivers. They have a great walkable downtown with many antique shops, book stores, boutiques, ect. They are known for they're close to 30 murals which show the history of agriculture in California's Central Valley.
