Ross and I met when he happened to be working in my hometown of Del Rio, TX. We connected first on social media for about 2 weeks, but the first time we met in person was in San Antonio, TX on St. Patrick's day of 2019, we brunched at Texas Roadhouse, and we found ourselves enjoying green beer all day, along with his good friend (and groomsmen) Blake Thompson and the rest is history!

Ross and I had been talking about getting engaged towards the end of 2019. Little did we know come March 2020 things would drastically change, the impact of COVID-19 was one that was loaded with much uncertainty. I thought to myself, "Great, now its defiantly not going to happen." On our one year dating anniversary, I traveled to go see Ross at his work location in Corpus Christi, TX. He cooked dinner and stated that he wanted to take a walk on the beach, I hesitated at first, I was pretty tired from the drive and I figured it wouldn't be possible with the strict covid regulations. I finally agreed, in the middle of our beach walk Ross got down on one knee and asked for my hand.
