What's Colorful Cocktail attire?

For the ceremony and reception on Saturday, our attire is "Colorful Cocktail". See moodboard^ We want our wedding to feel fun and full of life, and our guests' attire is part of that! Wear something that makes you feel like your most joyous self to join in our celebration. Since the weather will likely be pretty warm, we recommend flowy materials and lighter sleeves for those wearing dresses. If you are wearing a suit or similar setup, linen and airy materials are the way to go. Please no dark blue or black. **Our ceremony will be held on the roof of the venue, upstairs, and there is no elevator. We will also be parading through the street after the ceremony. Please keep this in mind when choosing shoes - we recommend wearing something comfortable!**

Can I bring a plus one or kids?

Unfortunately, due to capacity, only those listed on your invitation are invited to the wedding. Should I stay at the hotel?

Answer

We'd love for you to join us at the hotel! Shears & Berlins will be staying there all weekend and are excited to run into friends and family outside official events. The Barnett (formerly the Ace, if you are familiar) is a boutique Hyatt hotel in the Warehouse District. Steps from restaurants and shops, with a gorgeous rooftop pool deck, it's the perfect spot to spend your New Orleans weekend outside of wedding events.
