FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our barn wedding is semi-formal with a rustic touch. Think light, breathable fabrics for August weather—floral or solid dresses, or dress pants/chinos with a button-down. Comfortable shoes are a must since some areas are grass or gravel (block heels, wedges, flats, or boots work well). Skip anything too casual like flip-flops or distressed denim.

Question

Is there a dress code color to avoid?

Answer

Please avoid wearing white, ivory or cream. Please stay away from champagne as our bridal party will be in this color.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony starts at 3pm, please arrive 30 minutes early in order to find parking, a place to sit, and grab a refreshment beforehand! If you’re looking to just attend cocktail hour and the reception, show up any time after 345 pm. Keep in mind, the road to the venue will shut down right before the ceremony starts to ensure a quiet ceremony so make sure to be prompt.

Question

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors along with cocktail hour so please dress accordingly for August weather. The reception is held indoors with the option to step outside and enjoy the fire at night.

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

We will miss celebrating with you! Please ensure to RSVP “no” as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We love meeting new people — but our guest list is as carefully curated as our Spotify playlist Ross has worked so hard on! If your invitation says “and guest,” you’re welcome to bring one. If not, it just means we’re saving you an extra slice of cake.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, unfortunately due to spacing with our vendor, we’ve decided to only have the little ones closest to our family! Their names will be annotated on the invitation and RSVP page. Please think of this as a date night and plan accordingly for a sitter!
