Where should I fly into?

Answer

Fly into Sarajevo International Airport (SJJ), about 20 minutes from the city center by car. Hotel Europe can help arrange airport transportation. The most affordable Taxi option from the airport is “Red Taxi” (Crveni Taxi).

When should I get to Sarajevo?

Answer

We recommend arriving by August 26th or August 27th so you can adjust to the time difference and explore the city! Sarajevo is 7+ hours ahead of Central Standard Time.

Answer

Unless specified on your invite, we are not able to extend a plus one to guests. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Thanks for understanding!

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event unless specified, so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us.

Ceremony: 4:30 - 5:00 PM Cocktail Hour: 5:15 - 6:15 PM Reception: 6:15 - Midnight

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 4:15 PM for the ceremony, which will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. Doors will open at 4:00 PM.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. Our wonderful photographer will capture all the important moments. Feel free to take photos after that!

What is the wedding day dress code?

Answer

We kindly request that our guests wear formal attire. Tuxedos and gowns are welcome, as well as suits and cocktail dresses. If you're unsure, we recommend opting for the dressier side. Have fun with it, especially summer colors! Please avoid colors reserved for the bride (white, ivory, cream).

Cocktail attire! The celebration will take place on a covered outdoor terrace.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Sarajevo experiences comfortable summer weather around the end of August. Average high temperatures will be around 27°C (81°F), while nighttime lows will drop to around 14°C (57°F). Since Sarajevo is surrounded by mountains, temperatures can get low at night—bring a layer!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Hotel Europe has a paid parking garage, but it gets booked quickly. If you need to drive, we recommend taking a taxi so you can fully enjoy our wedding and not think about driving.

Molimo vas ako je moguce da gosti budu u vecernim odijelima i haljinama. Ako niste sigurni bilo bi pozeljno obuci se elegantno i sa lijepim bojama da bi ste se osjecali specijalno i zabavno. Molimo vas da izbjegavate boje rezervirane za mladenku (bijela, krem).

Hotel Evropa ima parking garažu koja se vrlo brzo zauzme. Preporučujemo da uzmete taxi i da ne morate brinuti o vožnji auta nakon svadbe.
