It Finally Happened! (thank you)

We met in 2014 when Annette moved to Chicago and started at Gensler, where Ross had worked since 2010. Ross spent months attempting to court Annette with little success with a strong desire never to date anyone where she worked. Ross left Gensler in 2015, and they experienced some distance for a while before reconnecting in the Spring of 2016 during a party for a mutual friend and they never looked back. We have shared a great deal of love for travel, new restaurants, and contemporary design throughout the years and always return to those shared interests whenever possible.

We were having an amazing time exploring the city of Amsterdam by foot, by bike and by canal. One day, we decided to venture a bit further outside of the city by bike for a scenic dinner above the locks. After dessert, Annette wanted to take some photos of the skyline... Little did she know that as she was snapping photos, Ross was right behind her pulling out the ring. She turned around to find him getting down on one knee to propose under the stars. It was such a beautiful, private, joyful moment for us both, full of lots of happy tears. ❤ We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. Hope to see you in Nashville!
