Things To Do

There are so many things to do in Sacramento. These are some of our personal favorites that we recommend while you are in town!

Crocker Art Museum

216 O Street, Sacramento, CA 95814

This was one of my favorite dates. The museum is so beautiful and there are so many exhibits to enjoy. We didn't even get a chance to get through the whole museum before they closed and we cannot wait to go back!

Pizzasaurus Rex

2322 K Street, Sacramento, CA 95816

The first weekend that Andrew came up to Sacramento we went to this restaurant with some dear friends. The food is always amazing and there are a lot of little places to investigate nearby. Highly recommend if you are jonesing for a good piece of pizza!

Babes Ice Cream & Donuts

2417 J Street, Sacramento, CA 95816

The best place in town for dairy-free ice cream. If I hadn't known I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. A fantastic little hole in the wall to end the evening on a sweet note. Think of us while you are having a scoop!

Zócalo Restaurant

1801 Capitol Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95811

Are you in the mood for Mexican? Zocalo's is an awesome option with a nice atmosphere. A definite crowd favorite with delicious variety.

Downtown Commons

405 K Street, Sacramento, CA 95814

DOCO is where Kyra usually has her Metro shift, so she's come to be a big fan of the coffee shops and restaurants in the area. Andrew came to meet her there after a shift when they first started dating and he got to meet the whole crew. It was a special day! Explore and say hi to the friends while you are there!

Old Sacramento

Sacramento, CA

A bit of a step back in time, the Old Sac area is best for a stroll and a bit of souvenir and window shopping. The waterfront restaurants are delicious! If you head over to the walking path you might even see some of our local river transplants, sea lions!
