It was Joshua's birthday and Roslyn's housewarming party. Both of our friends dragged us out to the bar when we really didn't want to go but both of us went out with our friends anyway (even though we wanted to stay in the house). Josh's friend Tim offered to buy Roslyn and another guest a drink. They asked everyone to hang at Josh's house and although they offered to cook rice, no one made any. So everyone went their own way. Weeks later, Roslyn needed a new phone and recognized Josh. "Hey! I remember you! You're the guy who never made us rice" ...Turns out, she was kept at the phone store and talked for hours about the iphone 8; and Roslyn still needed to come back "apparently" He never asked for her number so she knew it wasn't to ask her on a date...well, turns out she was wrong. He never gave her his number or asked for hers because he wanted her to come back to the store. (It was his plot the entire time) He reached out on social media to hang out and she said "no, you have to ask me on a proper date". He did and they enjoyed their time at TGI Fridays and a comedy show they went to on valentine's day. He was such a gentleman (opened the door, walked on the outside of the curb) but she told him, "next time, you need to bring me flowers." Now every month, Josh buys Roslyn flowers just because and she knew he was a keeper! ...She has never turned down a date from him since and she was the first one to say "I love you".
