Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Saturday 15 March 2025

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception. However, we recognise that some of you will be traveling with your kids, so please know they are welcome at the pre and post events on Thursday and Saturday! Our lovely wedding coordinator, Paula, has a list of trusted babysitters from the area, so please do let us know if you'd like us to connect you with Paula to find out more.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress-code is cocktail or semi-formal. For inspo, think - elevated garden party attire... Things to avoid: - Probably safest for the ladies to avoid wearing whites/off-whites. - We would not recommend wearing stilettos due to the ceremony being in a garden, so probably lean more towards chunkier heels or sandals. This is a very special day for us, and we look forward to seeing all of our favourite people, all dressed up :)

Question

A note on gifts...

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. However, should you wish to honour us with a gift, a wishing well will be available at the wedding reception for best wishes and contributions (for our next chapter - honeymoon and maybe a puppy?) We will also create a small registry and add the details here at a later date, for those that would prefer this option.

Question

What do I do if I have dietary requirements?

Answer

Please add these to your RSVP, and the team at Rose & Smith will take care of the rest.

Question

I will be driving. Where can I park?

Answer

There is plenty of parking next to the Grandstand. The parking area with be signposted and also a member of the Rose & Smith team will be greeting and directing people.

Question

I will not be driving. Is there transport arranged to/from the venue?

Answer

Return transport will be arranged for guests, picking up from three central locations (Greytown, Featherston and Martinborough), then returning to your accommodation address. If you would like to use this transport, please RSVP with your accommodation address.

Question

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones or cameras during the wedding?

Answer

We would ask that you (please please please) have your phones and cameras away during the ceremony. We have an amazing photographer who will capture some great photos, and we would prefer you trust us on this by keeping your devices away. As soon as the ceremony is over, you're welcome to take all of the photos!

Question

Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony is (hopefully) outdoors, canape/drinks hour outdoors, but our reception will be inside. All weather dependent!

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

We are hoping it will be nice and sunny during the day, so are aiming to have the ceremony outdoors. It may get a little nippy in the evening, so please do consider bringing some layers.

Question

Who should I speak to if I have additional questions in the direct lead up to, or on the day?

Answer

If needed, you can contact Rosie's lovely maid of honour, Nina, for any pressing questions very close to or on the day - her number is 021-068-9521.
