Our journey began four years ago at Savoy Pizzeria in West Hartford, with a little help from some very determined matchmakers. A close friend and the bride’s sister—who are now happily married themselves—decided we needed to meet. Looking back on that first night over wood-fired pizza, it’s clear they knew exactly what they were doing. Over the next few years, we built a life around the things we love most. Whether we were traveling somewhere new or exploring our favorite local spots, we found that everything felt like home as long as we were together. We’ve come to cherish the quiet, everyday moments just as much as the big adventures, usually with our dog, Hoagie, right by our side. The most defining moment of our story happened in the rolling vineyards of Montepulciano, Italy. Surrounded by the timeless beauty of Tuscany, we got engaged and promised to spend the rest of our lives chasing sunsets and making memories together. It was a milestone that felt both like a dream and the most natural next step in the world. We’ve officially planted our roots in Wethersfield. Moving into our new home has been the perfect way to begin this chapter, keeping us close to our families in Southington and Ellington. While we still love exploring new places, these days you can often find us relaxing at home and enjoying our space with Hoagie. We can’t wait to share our special day with you. We chose to have a smaller wedding so we could be surrounded by those closest to us—the people who have truly shaped our lives. Having you there will make the day even more meaningful, and we’re so excited to celebrate this next chapter together.
