Milan (recommend Bergamo: Orio al Serio)

Milan is the closest (and cheapest) to fly into and has plenty of airports. Bergamo (Orio al Serio) is closest with only 30mins drive from the castle

Verona

Verona is one of the other close airports 1 hour 20 minutes away from Clusane by car. Again Train connections arent the best in this area.

Iseo

The closest train station is in Iseo, with buses running from the station into Clusane town.

this is 7 Minutes walk (and a 4 minute drive) from the venue. A three star hotel by the side of the lake.

For anyone wanting to camp, this is a campsite about 21 minutes walk from the venue.

This place has only three rooms rented out by a couple who likes to travel too. It's a 29minute walk to the venue through town and looks like a bit uphill towards the end. For the designated driver its a 6 minute drive. It's a bit further up the hill from Empire resort if anyone wants to walk together or share a cab.

This is a somewhat cheaper option (as far as there are any). 25 minutes on foot, and 5 minutes by car from the venue through town. On the path from Casitamia. (joint taxi fares?)

Have a look around, there are plenty or BnBs to choose from. Many are not found on Booking.com

Tip: Don't mention it's for a wedding. Everyone seems to be hesitant to rent rooms for wedding guests.

Travel Note

Venue parking

The venue has parking, (with valet if my limited Italian understands well) for on the day. As they have lots of weddings, we are not sure yet how long the cars may stay there.
