For a great view (and a little exercise) talk a walk over the Brooklyn Bridge and enjoy the beautiful Manhattan and Brooklyn landscapes.
For the quintessential Williamsburg experience - check out Bedford Ave! This bustling street has endless boutiques, restaurants, coffee shops, and more.
Jim would be remiss if we didn't suggest McCarren Park for a leisurely afternoon stroll. During Covid, you could catch Jim and his friends taking a walk through McCarren every afternoon without fail. Stop by the ParkHouse for a drink or a quick bite to eat!
For a uniquely Brooklyn experience check out the DUMBO area. This neighborhood is filled with quirky markets and gorgeous cobblestone streets. There's great activities and even better views of the city. Check out the link for some popular attractions in the area.
For Rosie's favorite pizza in the city (I know, I know, that's saying a lot) check out Ace's Pizza in Williamsburg. The old-school counter vibes and relaxed atmosphere are almost as enjoyable as their Detroit-style slices. You won't regret it!
If you want to spend a couple hours indoors to skip the June heat, the Brooklyn Museum is a fantastic place to do it. This museum is the second largest in NYC and offers a wide range of modern through contemporary exhibits to enjoy. Needless to say, there's a lot to explore!
How could we not include our gorgeous wedding venue?! The Brooklyn Botanic Gardens will be in full blossom in June with both indoor and outdoors botanicals to enjoy. Unfortunately, since the wedding is a private event it does not include access to the gardens during their hours of public operation. For anyone who's curious to see more of the gardens than you'll be able to during the wedding, we encourage you to pay it a visit separate from the event.
