Like any modern day love story these days, Jay and Rosie met on Tinder. After two days of talking on the app Jay asked for Rosie’s Snapchat. I know what you’re thinking, huge red flag 🚩 BUT it worked for these two love birds. After a year and a few months of talking every single day on the phone and through text, Jay finally decided it was time to meet Rosie. On September 28th, Jay traveled the 2 hours and 47 minutes to Polar Bluff, MO. from Atoka, TN to meet her at her favorite flea market in town, Country Bumpkins, where they spent hours looking at pieces and talking over the same interests they had. What Rosie loves most is to decorate and it’s even better when it’s thrifted. Jay is also a lover of all things odd and used with a story. Jay visited Rosie every weekend after that, before officially asking her to be his girlfriend on October 28, 2024. It wasn’t long before the two knew that they were in love and ready to move in together. Rosie took the biggest leap by moving to Atoka after 10 months together as Jay is beginning his career in journeyman electrician along with small wire electrician, and Rosie finding a teaching job in Tennessee. These two have learned to balance and prioritize each other through their obstacles to truly become one. They can’t wait to have a small intimate celebration of their union with the family and friends that have stood by their side through the very beginning.
