We met 14 years ago, both working for a cable company. We sat across from each other every day, making jokes, talking, just being silly and enjoying each other’s company. Back then, I had no clue he even liked me, I was really just clueless. But now I know God had already started writing our story, even when we didn’t see it. Eventually, I moved away, but we never lost touch. No matter where life took us, we always checked in with each other. It was like our connection never faded, even with the distance. Looking back, I know now that was God holding it all together. Our love story really took off in August 2022. I was going through a hard time, and without even being asked, he showed up for me, strong, steady, and full of love. My king came to my rescue, and we’ve never looked back since. It wasn’t planned, it wasn’t forced, it just happened so naturally, like it was meant to be. Things haven’t always been easy. Every relationship has its ups and downs, and we’ve had to learn, grow, and forgive. But what makes our love different is that we kept God at the center. And because of that, He’s blessed us in ways we couldn’t even imagine. He healed old wounds, built trust, and gave us something real, something rare.
