Nat met Em on the very first day of graduate school when they ended up sitting next to each other in their SLP cohort, bonding over Shrek memes & checking whether chicken tender pub subs were on sale. What started as a friendship in grad school quickly became a strong bond, with the two supporting each other through every stage of adulthood. Years later, they both achieved their dream roles as acute care SLPs, still working together to this day!

Jackson has unknowingly been orchestrating this wedding since 2019, when he introduced Nat & Keith during a playtest for a board game he and Keith had developed together. Nat and Jackson were already friends since undergrad in 2013.
