E & Q SAY I DO!

Our love story began in 2016 on Thanksgiving Eve, also known as one of the biggest party nights of the year. While Emily was supporting the newly opened restaurant Savoy, Quinn was next door at the Shish Kebab House of Afghanistan. After last call, Emily and Quinn crossed paths leaving each restaurant, heading out to find their respective ubers. They engaged in some flirtatious banter and Quinn asked Emily for her number, handing her his phone. Emily quickly entered her digits agreeing to meetup for drinks sometime soon! The next morning, Quinn texted Emily “Hey! Hoping this is Emily’s number." To his surprise, it was not Emily who responded but rather a guy wishing him luck and a happy thanksgiving (Emily had accidentally mistyped a few numbers) however, thanks to Facebook Emily and Quinn were able to connect and the rest is history! Fast forward 4 years... Quinn texted the unknown number guy a picture to share that he and Emily had gotten engaged! The guy responded introducing himself along with congratulatory remarks and an invitation to his house for drinks! Turns out he lives directly across the street with his partner! Emily and Quinn took him up on the offer and the small world story was shared over a happy hour in the backyard!
