Wedding Party

Meet a few of our fantastic family and friends that are joining us in our walk down the isle.

Jim Kessel

Father of the Bride

I love my dad! My father has fixed and found more of my things than I could count. He is 100% supportive of his children and always extremely on board with our dreams or ideas, something that has been invaluable in letting us grow as individuals in a secure and loving home. Though he is less extroverted than me or my mom, he is pensive, thoughtful, and likes to dig in deep to new ideas. He loves creating and problem solving and is excellent at making pancakes and peanut butter jelly sandwiches. We share a deep love for mint chocolate chip ice cream and the great outdoors, and I have been gifted with seeing some of his favorite spots in the mountains in my life. I thank him for the example he's been of a father who loves God and is slow to anger.

Susie Kessel

Mother of the Bride

I love my mom! She has taught me everything from how to clean a kitchen table properly to how to dance without inhibition and opened up her home countless times to many many people throughout my life. I love her whole family (HEY GERZEL CLAN) and am thankful for how she and her sisters have kept us all connected. The mornings she's spent praying over her children and reading God's word I know have been immeasurable influential in my life. She's a fellow teacher and example to me and we loved coming home my first year of teaching sharing stories. Much more can be said about this amazing woman, but I really hope you'll just meet her yourself, as she's very easy to befriend.

Rebecca Tartre

Maid of Honor

Rebecca and I have known each other since Jr. High days at Riverview Church but became close through our years at Fallbrook High, spending classes, lunches, after school, ASB, going on trips, countless sleepovers (which have continued into today), and church times together. By the grace of God we now have the gift of both teaching first grade together across the hall from each other at Grapevine Elementary in Vista and I am truly made better by her friendship, humbled by her example of selflessness and love for Christ, and honored to be a part of her life and family. She has a wonderful husband, Chris, and their relationship is an example for me and Andrew. She is deeply considerate, always lovely, an amazing teacher, sister, and friend and I couldn't be more thankful!

Danika Siwek

Bridesmaid

How thankful I am for the girl who moved next door to our Fallbrook avocado grove 18 years ago! Danika and I have shared countless memories through nearly every stage of our lives, running over to each other's houses even on Christmas day to spend time with our families. Do you want to see a myriad of home movies and TV Shows made by two preteen girls? I know where you can find them. My childhood was rich in large part because of her and her family's presence in it (shout out to the Norman Fam!) and included fort building, playing with our American Girl Dolls, reading books, dancing to Barlow Girl, sneaking into houses next door. Danika is faithful, kind, generous and though she now lives in the far away land of Texas, she is still truly a forever friend.

Rachel Prentiss

Bridesmaid

Fallbook days brought Rachel and I together but our friendship has continued to grow far beyond that. Sister with Rebecca, we have shared many dear days and moments together from church days, girls trips away, to errand runs. Rachel is a resilient pursuer of betterment and of God and I have learned from her amazing spirit of wisdom. We share a love of puzzels, she entertains my love for Adventures in Odyssey, and enjoy discovering new places, facts, and information. Have you wondered what the proper way is to hold a cucumber? She's the one to ask. She is absolutely trustworthy and seriously funny, causing me and those around her to roll over laughing many a time. I would suggest getting to know her well. I sure am thankful I have!

Alyssa Trujillo

Bridesmaid

We led Christian Club together at Fallbrook High, were pen pals through college, and now, Alyssa and her husband Jeremiah have given us gift of being Godparents to their son Judah. Alyssa leads and moves with conviction and love and I trust her pursuit of truth in all she does. We love that we've come from Fallbrook, gone off, and now both landed in Vista (woot woot) where Alyssa has graciously shared many meals with me at her home. She and her husband Jeremiah were also the first ones to meet us on our engagement day to take pictures of us, and have since day one been so overwhelmingly excited and supportive of Andrew and me! We love you!!

Virginia Dunn

Bridesmaid

Virginia was the gracious and brave one to lead our high school Bible Study for four years, Residing all the way in Hilo, HI now (tear...) how happy I am for her many years in Fallbrook before. She and her palm-loving husband Jason (HI JASON) and their daughter Mercy were so excited for and welcomed in Andrew so fully and openly it was a gift to our relationship. She has taught me about persuing God's call no matter the circumstances and taught me how to think critically about spiritual and personal topics, and is always a great source of love and FUN. How happy I am her mentorship has turned to friendship even after all these years and time across oceans. She is wonderful and truly forever young!

Bri Gaultiere

Bridesmaid

Bri and I met our freshman year at Westmont and got to be roommates sophomore year and fellows RAs in the years beyond that! She was a fantastic roommate (take note Andrew) and an even more fantastic friend. We've gotten to share holidays, spend days on end with each other's families, and Bri and her husband David have fed and hosted me above and beyond in their home (Bri is very good at making food and folding sheets, among many many other qualities she has). Bri is wonderfully content, easily excited, not easily upset and deeply appreciative. I love being with her and am so thankful she wanted to be my friend too those years ago in our freshman dorm.

Anna Wegner

Bridesmaid

Anna, as described by my roommate Leilani, is a whimsical fairy of kindness and love. Anna graced my life two years ago when she joined in to lead/learn with the group of high school girls we are with on Wednesday nights at church. Her leadership and genuine care is immeasurable, yet does not begin to reach the heights to which Anna seeks the Holy Spirit so relentlessly. Anna has turned into a true friend outside of Youth Group leadership, and though she's younger than me, I leave my time with her feeling filled with wisdom far beyond her years. Her desire for people to know how much they are loved by God oozes out of her! It makes all of us more confident to be bold in sharing this Truth! I am so thankful I get to experience Jesus through Anna. Truly a joy!

Jenelle Christian

Bridesmaid

Jenelle came to Live Oak Elementary in fifth grade and since our friendship has continued. I am thankful for the countless night in Jr. High and on I spent at her house, on her pond, and with her family. To this day, I have still gone to the Madden (Jenelle's maiden name) family's house to collect tadpoles for our class life cycles project the last two years. Through Jenelle's loving spirit, many often socially difficult years through Jr. High and high school were calm and secure with a faithful, fun loving, Christ seeking friend to count on. Jenelle is so inclusive, of others, of me, of Andrew and models perseverance and contentment, generosity, and joy. A highly capable now Doctor of Physical Therapy (awww yea!), I love seeing how God has formed us both through the years.

Sarah Phillips

Bridesmaid

Sarah and I bonded over the love and trials of being Resident Assistants with our freshmen residents at Westmont College in 2012, and we spent the following summer in Olympia, WA working at Black Lake Bible Camp. Sarah has a gift, hospitable both in how she shares her physical space, but also her time, thoughts, and resources to make people feel they're a part of something. A fellow teacher, we have to constantly stop ourselves from our forever-going conversations of problem solving, and story sharing but gosh I love it! Sarah loves all adventures and quirky ideas, and is wonderfully content in all circumstances. Also, she has amazing singing and piano skillz. It's been a blast because we’ve been engaged together and she’s marrying her super wonderful fiance David this summer too!

Christie Rosenkranz

Bridesmaid

My wonderful future sister-to-be, how thankful I am to be welcomed into her life and family! Christie from day one has been so kind and inclusive of me. Andrew's older sister, and the oldest of the Rosenkranz Four, models to her siblings a love for God and her family. We share in growing up as the only girl among brothers and I know Andrew is a more sensitive man because of Christie's presence in his life. Christie is easy to be with, open and genuine, sincere in her faith, thoughtful in her speech, and doesn't take herself too seriously, which is necessary for the often loving teasing Rosenkranz household. She's a master dental hygienist and was admired by my class when she came in to teach them all about tooth health. I can't wait to have a sister in her!!!

Brent Rosenkranz

Father of the Groom

Jokester to the max, but first and foremost a man after God's own heart. B-nut (his common nickname around the house) cherishes his wonderful life Lori (my mama) and his four kiddos: AndyMac, The Baby, Crispy Creme, and Berda. Brent has a true and genuine interest in the lives of others. Fun and interesting stories are definitely one of his fortes. If you've got some time to kill just ask him what he thinks about true Christian fellowship. Some of my Dad's favorite things are dining out with his wonderful wife, treating himself to a 1lb box of see's candies, warm and sunny weather, watching his son Andrew bully his brother Christian, and reading through God's word early in the morning while basking in his man room. I love my Dad and am proud of the man he's become.

Lori Rosenkranz

Mother of the Groom

Where could Lori Rosenkranz be at 5:00am? She will most definitely be sitting at her desk in the kitchen basking in the morning silence all while receiving spiritual nourishment found only in God's good and perfect word. My mother is a steadfast and routine lady. She possesses a most impressive work ethic that was probably acquired during her days raising livestock in rural Oregon, you know the good ole days. Servant to her dear husband and four children, Lori has overcome many of life's trying obstacles and snares. She now valiantly fights to help young mothers in need of guidance with their youngsters. If you ever need a mentor mama who will genuinely care about your life, Lori is your gal. Love you mamacita!

Christian Rosenkranz

Best Man

The Lil Baby is a ridiculously fun and loud individual. He's sharp as a tack, and nimble as a cat. From pwning noobs in water basketball to stomping out switch varials, Christian is a diligent worker who excels in most everything he does. Growing up with Christian made for a wild and laughter filled adventure. There's something special about having a little brother that you enjoy spending time with throughout your whole life, and that's been the case for us. He has a deep reverence for the Lord and loves him above all else. He also loves his family and über wonderful girlfriend Kate who is already like a member of our family. Christian hopes to graduate SDSU next spring with a degree in lego building and bike riding. I'm so proud of the Baby and am honored for him to be my best man!

Brendon Rosenkranz

Groomsman

Brendon, also known as Berda, is my big brother. Growing up with not one, but two brothers was a total blessing in my life (we all loved growing up with our sissy as well!). Brendon has a brilliant mind and aptitude for anything relating to music. I have always admired his ability to pick up nearly any instrument and begin playing it comfortably within minutes. Jazz flute has even made it into his repertoire! Turning down separate paths during high school wedged a small gap between us, but lately we have been able to draw closer to one another. I have always loved my older brother and thank the Lord for placing him in my life. It will truly be an incredible moment to see Brendon stand alongside me and Christian as I take Tori's hand in marriage.

Brandon Cole

Groomsman

Olly, olly oxen free Sarah!!! This was a phrase quite regularly heard from the second floor active room window. The culprit, no one other than Brandon "Spatch" Cole. I met Brandon when we transferred to SDSU together. By the grace of God we ended up as neighbors. I choose to pursue business, and Brandon decided he wanted to work with psychologically troubled individuals at a nearby hospital. It just so happens that this was a phenomenal fit for him. Spatch has a heart for those who suffer, for those in need of help. He exhibits a seriously powerful sense of determination, and has enough leg strength to fell a Sequoia.

Danny Lloyd-Jones

Groomsman

Daniel Edward Lloyd-Jones has been one of my best friends for quite some time. One of my fondest memories with Danny is when he would take a group of our friends to a nearby field in his Toyota Previa for some wet and wild donuts in the dirt. A true modern day Huckleberry Finn. Danny has an adventurous heart that has only intensified since he married the love of this life Hannah. Danny and Hannah have served around the world together in order that others can experience the gospel message, the saving grace of Jesus Christ. If you want to know the in's and out's of missionary work/living, talk with them! To have Danny in my life has been a total blessing. His candor and rawness is extremely refreshing. D-money, thank you for standing beside Tori and I as we prepare for marriage!

Chase Kessel

Groomsman

The brother of Tori and soon to be brother of mine! Chase Kessel can effortlessly make the dullest situation fun and filled with laughter. When I started dating Tori, Chase was so kind to me and incredibly welcoming. I'm forever grateful for that! The amount of quirky accents and impersonations Chase possesses will leave you completely in awe. The Kessel's are a multifaceted family with a cornucopia of skillzz. While living up in Chico, Chase has risen through the ranks at Madison Bear Gardens as a chef and now bartender. If he's not working, then you'll probably find him spending time with his wonderful girlfriend Kayla. He's a young man with a hungering for adrenaline and excitement. Cheers mate! Thank you for welcoming me into the fam!

Hayden Kessel

Groomsman

A refined man of class. The eldest heir to the Kessel throne. An individual that enjoys the fine yet simple things in life: hard work, grilled meat, integrity, grit, and handmade crafts. Hayden has a inquisitive mind that yearns to grow and learn more. I really respect his ability to take risks in his life. The majority of people I know would be averse to venturing off to a distant land in order to help kickstart a hog farm, but he made the trek! Similar to Chase, Hayden was incredibly kind and welcoming to me when I started spending time with Tori and her family. One of my favorite moments is when Hayden asked if we could talk about something other than work. I love when people aren't shy to switch the conversation towards a topic outside of strictly the weather or their career.

Daniel Puerta

Groomsman

Daniel "BB" "B-Squared" Puerta is a local celebrity in San Diego. BB became Brandon's roommate when he transferred to SDSU, thus instantly becoming my neighbor. Giving squared a hug will most likely be the highlight of your day. He's one of the kindest people I've ever met, and has more friends than Mr. Rogers. If you ever play Settlers of Catan, like most young people do, you'll have to watch out for BB's wiggling fingers as he steals resource cards from you. BB now spends his time as a resident manager at SDSU's newest student housing project while attending graduate school. He also serves with Camps Outreach, a college ministry focused on bringing the saving grace of Jesus Christ to students lives. Love you Puerta!

Michael Peters

Groomsman

Webster's dictionary definition of Minesweeper Master = Michael Kenneth Peters. He is a genius writer, a master of strategy, sassy squatter, and burrito aficionado. James 1:19 says, "Therefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath."I love when I read a passage in scripture and then quickly think of a close friend that practices obedience in that area. I admire Michael's ability to hear people out before interrupting or forcing his opinion upon them. He waits patiently and thinks carefully about his response. When it comes to puns and comedic relief he's the craftiest sun of a gun around. One day Michael will oversee a satiric column in the paper, or take his laughter rich writings to Reddit's comment section. Ty for being such a great friend!

Kevin Ahumada

Groomsman

Kevi-Kev-Kev, where do I begin? One must know that Kevin is down for anything, and I mean anything. Although he truly does enjoy being an honorary member of the finer things club, which includes sipping on a "Tommy's Trombone" or "Surreptitious Sazerac", he's not afraid nor unwilling to get his hands dirty. I credit the majority of the fun in my life directly to Kevin because of his orchestration of so many of my friends outings. Inclusivity is his middle name. Many friends have come and gone over the years, but Kevin has a God given gift of keeping up with those he cares about. You are not forgotten in Kevin's mind. Kevin will tell you the best thing in his life is his wonderful wife Saidy who he loves dearly and cherishes wholeheartedly. Cheers Kev!

Robert Myers

Groomsman

I can remember quite vividly the first day Robert and I met in speech therapy class at the ripe age of four or five. I said, "Hello, my name is Andrew Rossenkraneth." While he responded, "Hi, my name is Wobitt Mywas." The result, instant friendship. Growing up with Robert made for such a great childhood. In a way he became a member of our family. The amount of things we bonded over was ridiculous. From carving down the massive hill outside his house on skateboards to biking on the endless trails of Calaveras, we felt like the coolest kids around town. Fast forward quite a few years and Rob-Dawg now serves his community as a member of the Oceanside Police Department. Lift up a prayer for his safety on the field. He also has become quite close with his very sweet girlfriend Maddie.
