Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Sarah Rosenberger and Michael Jungbluth
Madison is truly magical in the summer and we're so excited to share a few of our favorite places in the area with you.

Olbrich Botanical Gardens

3330 Atwood Avenue, Madison, WI 53704

Olbrich Botanical Gardens, where our second date happened, is such a beautiful and free place to walk around and take in some gorgeous flowers. There is an incredible Thai Pavilion that is a must see! Its across from Lake Monona and another one of our favorite places, The Biergarten at Olbrich Park. Grab a beer and play a game of bags along Lake Monona.

Dane County Farmers’ Market

2 E Main St, Madison, WI 53702

A trip to Madison is not complete without hitting up the Farmers' Market around the capitol building on Saturday morning. Grab some flowers, Stella's Cheese Bread, and some local cheese curds. Nothing beats it, check it out on your way out of town. While you're there, pop inside the capitol building, it is stunning and open to the public!

Wingra Boats

824 Knickerbocker Street, Madison, WI 53711

A fantastic place to rent kayaks, paddleboards, and canoes. It isn't a trip to Madison without a little time on the water. Through Madison Boats you can rent for any of the three different lakes in town.

Pheasant Branch Conservancy

4864 Pheasant Branch Road, Middleton, WI 53562

On the westside of town, this is one of our favorite places to walk. A stunning 3 mile loop that is full of wildlife. We've seen turkeys, cranes, deer, snapping turtles, bald eagles, and so many more. It truly is a hidden gem.
